James Prendamano

James Prendamano is a respected voice in American real estate, recognized for transforming complex visions into projects that strengthen communities and create lasting economic value. As founder and CEO of PreReal Investments and PreReal Prendamano Real Estate, he has led more than $1 billion in transactional real estate and over one million square feet of leasing across residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets.

 

Prendamano’s career bridges high-density development in New York City with rural revitalization in the American Southwest, unified by a holistic approach that considers the economy, people, purpose, and environment. In New York, he became known for guiding projects like Staten Island Urby and South Shore Commons, navigating complex land-use regulations and uniting public and private interests to deliver enduring value. His leadership and results earned appointments from multiple mayors to the NYC Industrial Development Agency and Build NYC Resource Corp. Audit Committees, as well as recognition among the Top 100 Leaders in Real Estate and multiple CoStar Power Broker awards.

 

Through PreReal Investments, Prendamano has expanded his impact to Sierra County, New Mexico, committing more than $55 million in equity to redevelop assets that drive regional growth. At the center of this effort is Turtleback Mountain Golf & Resort, a 1,300-home master-planned community revitalizing the former Sierra del Rio Golf Course into a hub of recreation, wellness, and economic renewal. Under his leadership, Turtleback was selected to host the New Mexico Open (2025–2027), earning more than 11-million earned media impressions and national recognition for its community impact.

 

Beyond real estate, Prendamano founded The Prendamano Academy, a free educational platform offering over 100 video lessons that teach real estate strategy, leadership, and AI literacy. The Academy empowers learners—from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors—by combining technical skill with purpose-driven personal development.

 

He also hosts two podcasts: The Real Problem with James Prendamano, which explores the moral and systemic roots of American dysfunction, and The PreReal Podcast, featuring over 180 episodes in 60+ countries discussing real estate, capital markets, and leadership.
